Discover the USC Libraries
|Meet in the Doheny Memorial Library (DML) Foyer||12:30 PM – 1:15 PM|
Explore the USC Libraries on a guided walking tour featuring an overview of the spaces, research assistance and specialized collections at USC. This tour is designed for guests and family members after you help your student move-in and is capped at 40 attendees.
Move-In Day Parent Letter Writing
|Ronald Tutor Campus Center (TCC) 302||2:00 PM – 4:00 PM|
USC Parent Programs welcomes you with the opportunity to write a letter to your student which will be delivered to the second week of classes. USC Parent Programs will provide stationary and a standard envelope for families to write letters to their student. Make sure to bring your student’s new USC address!
Spring in to SC!
|McCarthy Quad||6:00 PM – 8:00 PM|
Join the USC Office for Residential Education and the Division of Student Affairs for a Welcome Event featuring the In-N-Out truck, the Tapingo truck, a DJ and the Trojan Marching Band! Several student affairs offices will be there to welcome you with information and giveaways. After dinner, head over the Galen Center to cheer on the Men’s Basketball team as they take on Stanford!

After the welcome dinner, walk over to the Galen Center and cheer on the Trojans! Parents and guests can purchase discounted tickets here.

New Student Convocation

Your student’s entry into the Trojan family begins with this annual address to all new students. This traditional event features a welcome from the Vice Provost of Student Affairs, remarks by President C.L. Max Nikias and greetings from each academic dean. To RSVP, visit usc.edu/esvp (code: SNSC17)
